The Cloud Gate in Chicago’s Millennium Park is a truly outstanding sculpture. Welded from steel plates without any visible seams, it has a highly polished surface that reflects the skyline of Chicago. Around and under the sculpture hundreds of visitors gather every day to take a picture of their own distorted reflection in the glossy surface. Of course, that included myself when I visited Chicago. And no, I’m not going to show you that picture 😉
